Is Jesus Calling You?
I always try to give a bit of back ground on my Blog, pertaining to my own life. I was raised a good Catholic boy, and never once ever heard of Being Born Again, as we lived by the Catholic Church and the Father of each Church who forgave our sins. Then after confession I would hit the bars, as it was a very convenient life style. It wasn’t until I was Born Again where I read that we NEVER confess our sins to a man to get forgiveness even a man of the cloth. The word says I am a jealous God and you don’t confess your sins to anyone but, me. And how as looking back what good sense as how can a man forgive me as all I had to do was to confession was as simple as hitting my knees and praying. My daily Saint to pray with was Saint Anthony, also I was given Anthony for a middle name due to St Anthony.
Then one Awesome day the greatest day of my entire Life after a bad accident Jesus called me and wow life has never been the same since This by fall has and is the GREATEST GIFT I HAVE EVER BEEN GIVEN. How Satan deceived me with his lies, of the bars, sex, drugs that were leading me to total destruction.
But my God set me free to live a life of love, prosperity, happiness and most of all took the Spirit of fear from me. I lived a crazy life, but this fear cloud hung over me. He turned my Ashes into Beauty. As from barley making it from day to day to becoming a millionaire, no it did not come over night, but it came by Faith and the promises God that he gave me.
As a Christian you still will get attack, even more so, but the difference is that you have God on your side, and His word says no Weapon formed against me shall prosper. As His word is beyond better than God, for Satan tried to bound me with heart disease, and Cancer, well Praise the living God, Jesus took both away from me 100 percent. Realize it’s not only the power you get from God, but the protection and most of all Peace of Mind.
So is if you have any hesitation then think twice, as you might not be as blessed as I was. The word says tomorrow is promised to no man, and Praise God I could have died and ever been born-again nor able to see the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen
What is salvation in Jesus Christ? In Christianity, salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the "saving [of] human beings from sin and its consequences, which include death and separation from God" by Christ's death and resurrection, and the justification following this salvation.
Do you choose God or does God choose you?
Unless God changes you by His Holy Spirit, it cannot happen. You did not choose God first. God Chose you and having Chosen you, you will choose Him. If you think God has chosen you and you haven't chosen Him then He Has not Chosen you.
Why must we be born again?
We are born again when we respond to God's offer of forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ, confess our sins, and invite Jesus Christ into our lives to be our leader and lord. And when Jesus truly comes in, his Holy Spirit fills us and changes us.
What is the purpose of being born again?
Associated perhaps initially with Jesus People and the Christian counterculture, born again came to refer to a conversion experience, accepting Jesus Christ as lord and savior in order to be saved from hell and given eternal life with God in heaven, and was increasingly used as a term to identify devout believers.
How do you know if God is talking to you?
Hearing voices, seeing visions, words that leap off the pages of the Bible. Does God really speak in such real, tangible ways? Nudges, feelings in your heart, the sense of something large
What does it mean to listen to God's call?
His speaking to us is usually not through an audible voice but through the drawing of our hearts. We often refer to this drawing as the calling of God. It is His way of inviting or bidding us to take a certain action or make a certain decision.
Who decides if you go to hell?
The judgement
The decision as to whether we went to heaven or hell was made by God at the time of our deaths. (The general judgement of all the resurrected dead on the final Day of Judgement merely confirmed God's previous one.)
What does God say when you enter hell?
Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels." In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." HELL IS FOREVER! All who enter hell — abandon all hope!
Can being good get you to heaven?
No, to enter Heaven a person can't be a good enough person. God requires perfection, and a good person can never be sinless without receiving God's gift of eternal life paid for by the blood Jesus shed on the cross. Thinking you are good enough is prideful, and denies the authority of God. Not by works say the Lord, God.
God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). ... Our best efforts can never be good enough to earn salvation, but God declares us righteous for Christ's sake. We receive that grace through faith alone.
What does God say when you enter hell?
How was hell created?
In most Protestant traditions, hell is the place created by God for the punishment of the devil and fallen angels (cf. Matthew 25:41), and those whose names are not written in the book of life (cf. Revelation 20:15).
4 Signs You aren’t Living the Life God Created You For
Sign 1: You are dreading life consistently.
If you don’t ever want to go to work, if you don’t feel fulfilled by anything that you do, if you just want to stay home all the time and if you don’t look forward to many things, then you’re probably dreading life consistently. And when you’re dreading life, that means you’re missing something important.
You don’t enjoy work. That probably means you might be doing the wrong thing. You might be in an unhealthy environment that you need to get out of or you might be needing to rely on God more in the situation that he’s put you in and he’s trying to teach you something.
There are so many different aspects of this, so I am not blanketing these signs as, oh, this means that you’re doing something wrong. They’re just different signs that I’ve realized and I’ve asked other people about that show that there’s just something off in either your mental or physical place. If you are dreading life consistently, here are some easy fixes to try to change things up.
Sign 2: You are happy, not joyful.
So, a lot of people can get these two confused. But as Christians, we are called to be joyful, not happy. Happy is more of a roller coaster emotion. It changes based on your life circumstances. You could be happy one minute and excited about life, and then in the next you’re dreading life and you’re not happy whatsoever because life circumstances changed. Something bad happened or whatever. Happiness can go away so quickly.
Joyfulness is a more consistent feeling. It’s not based on external circumstances, but it’s an internal choice.
Joy is something that’s also contagious. When you feel joyful, even in the midst of suffering or in the midst of life’s struggles or when you can’t pay your bills or when you got fired, or when you’re in any situation where you need to rely on God and his faithfulness and his provision, when you choose that joy in those situations, other people notice.
It’s very much a big sign that says, Hey, I’m different.
Sign 3: You don’t feel Special
Have you ever looked around and realizes you don’t seem any different than the world? Sometimes we can get into this place where we just keep going through the motions and have gotten formed by the world a little bit and we just do what other people do and like the photos other people like. We start to look like the photos that other people take on their Instagram’s too.
If you don’t feel special, you need to look at a few different things.
Sign 4: You are Isolated in Life
You are isolated in life. This one I definitely understand. When I was in Ukraine it was very, very isolating season. I had friends and people in the church that were close to me and I loved them and adore them, but there’s still that cultural barrier and there wasn’t anybody that was around my age that understood where I was coming from and spoke English fluently. I was in a very, very dark season of isolation and it taught me so much about God and he just opened a lot of things for me and said, hey, this is what I want you to get.
But if you’re not sure if you’re too isolated in life, try answering these questions.
When was the last time someone called, texted or came over because they had a problem and needed a friend to walk through it?
That sounds so odd, but I’ve realized when I’m isolated in life then people don’t come to me because they feel like they’re burdening me or because I pushed them away. But if they call me or text me or they just stop by my house it shows they trust me and desire to have a relationship with me.
So, if you don’t have a friend that does that, that could be a sign you’re isolated in life.
Repeat this Prayer from the Heart and your Life shall NEVER BE THE SAME.
Dear God, I come before you today with a humble heart and surrender my life to you. I believe that Jesus Christ was born free of sin, died on the cross as a payment for my own sin, and rose three days later. I believe in your gift of salvation and eternal life because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God, today I repent and turn from my old way of life. Because of your mercy and grace, I can have childlike faith. Today I ask for new life through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, God, for forgiving me and making me brand new. In Jesus' name, Amen.
